What's in the guide
Each chapter is written for the adult child running point on a Polish-speaking parent's Medicare. In plain English, no jargon:
- Chapter 1. What Medicare is, who qualifies, what it costs, what to expect.
- Chapter 2. The four parts of Medicare (A, B, C, D), plus Medigap. What each covers.
- Chapter 3. When to enroll: IEP, AEP, MA-OEP, SEP. Dates, penalties, working past 65.
- Chapter 4. The big choice: Medigap vs. Advantage. Two philosophies, compared side by side.
- Chapter 5. Part D (prescription drugs): formulary, tiers, the 2026 $2,100 cap.
- Chapter 6. Top ten questions and answers, from spousal Medicare questions to traveling to Poland.
- Chapter 7. Next step: three ways to schedule a free Polish/English consultation.
A few things to know before downloading
- Educational, not promotional. The guide doesn't name specific carriers, list specific plan premiums, or recommend "the best" plan.
- 2026 numbers. All amounts (e.g., the $2,100 Part D cap) are based on CMS 2026 rules and may be updated by CMS.
- No obligation. We won't enroll your parent in anything. Any next step is your family's call.
